4/ Sorry it's been a while. I had flu.

But today I have managed to paint again.

Building up lays and lays of colour giving more body to the painting.

Working also on the water giving it more reflections.

I can see it now coming together and think when the oil is dry, I will be able to finish it next time.

3/ Today I have worked on my oil painting 800 x 650mm on board.

Continuing painting my favourite lake with Autumn colours and hue. I have both painted and glazed, giving more detail and laying out the balance of colours, light and darks. Which I can see it taking shape. I will have to move things about to balance the finished painting.

I will finish this painting in a very impressionistic way with atmospheric mood.

2/ OIL ON BOARD. 800 X 650mm

FINNISHED UNDER PAINTING AND BUILDING UP MORE PAINT, ALSO PLANNING, PLUS A LITTLE MORE TEXTURE.

I CAN SEE WHERE IT IS GOING WITH LIGHT AND COLOURS.

I WILL LEAVE IT TO DRY BEFORE ADDING THE GLAZING COATS.

PLEASE KEEP WATCHING TO SEE HOW IT PROGESSES.

Started a new painting.

800 x 650 mm. oil

Done some gesso to give texture and the under painting for now.

I could not go without painting the beautiful trees this Autumn. The colours are outstanding this year, along with the low autumn sunlight, catch the golden leaves giving a hue of beautiful glistening golds.
